Like our spirits, we embody ‘Victoria the eccentric’ not ‘Victoria the staid’.

We are a small Canadian company, owned and run by a team of unique individuals who are thrilled to be related.  We have more than a bit of fun – laughing, drinking, learning, and making food together.  Our creative energies have organically fused to get this company off the ground and produce high quality products that we love.

Among us you’ll find:

• a President who practices medicine and plays a mean game of “jungle bocce” (that’s Bryan)
• an Events Coordinator who is a horticultural force, mover, and shaker in Victoria (that’s Valerie, aka Mom)
• a Master Distiller wielding a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and a portfolio of community development work in Africa (hi Peter!)
• a Creative Director currently working on a PhD (and lots of cocktail research) in London, England (that’s Mia)
• a Culinary Consultant who dazzles palates as the Chef at Victoria’s Paprika Bistro (cheers Anna)
• and our Bottling Whirlwind who is currently taking a sabbatical from the bottling line to work on his Master’s in music performance in Berlin (you’re ace, Max!).

This core team is supported by the energy and expertise of our extended family, partners, sweethearts, and friends.

In particular:

• Anna’s hubby, Phil Lecours, also shows the still ‘who’s boss’ as our second Distiller
• New to the name ‘Hunt’, but not to Distillery grunt work, Natalie is our ‘generalist par excellence’… when she’s not taking charge in Africa.
• And there’s Nicholas, who has been stolen away to London where he is hard at work as ‘man about town’ and as our cocktail historian
• Finally, Bob’s our Uncle!  Get to know Bob Blumer here.  (He may already be your Uncle too.)

Although we no longer live under the same roof, or even the same city, we are on the same page – committed to creating Victoria’s Modern Spirit, having as much fun as possible through the process, and sharing what we love.  Welcome to the family!
